Calculate your exact age
Age is calculated by finding the difference between the current date and your birth date. The calculator computes years by subtracting birth year from current year, then adjusts for months and days. If today's day is before your birth day, it borrows days from the previous month. If today's month is before your birth month, it borrows 12 months (reducing the year count by 1).

In most Western countries, age increments on your birthday. However, in some East Asian cultures like Korea, you're considered 1 year old at birth and everyone ages together on New Year's Day (traditional) or January 1st (modern). This can make someone 1-2 years "older" in Korean age than in international age.
To calculate your age in days, multiply your years by 365.25 (accounting for leap years), then add extra days for completed months. Leap years add an extra day every 4 years (with some exceptions).
